I'm still annoyed about the change to Dynamis, but not for what most people are mad about. The old Dynamis allowed larger linkshells to run events with a communal pool. Since most of the time we would have had 12-18 people show up, the new format would work for us, but we had taken on a few more members just before the update.

Come our first run post-update and we were 19 strong meaning someone had to be left out. I volunteered but our leader decided to be the one to jump in and out of the alliance. After a run that didn't net us anything worth our efforts we decided to call it a day.

I've been with this Dynamis shell for longer than I can remember, one of the few non-JP members, and probably the weakest when it came to communications. I can read a fair chunk, enough to know what was happening, but responding… I just didn't feel right. Any response would have been horribly butchered.

The update destroyed a solid Dynamis group.

So the community has figured out what to do now, and I've been trying to solo as much as I can. Safe to say that I can easily do a M.Silver a week without trying, but that means that I'm still half a year away from finishing. I wish that the old CL crew was still around. The way FFXI is atm is what we wished it had been when they were still playing.
